Redeeming Harvest is an independent ministry focused on sharing the beauty in Christ through blogs, videos, photography, adventures, sales, and service. It is not part of a church. It is run independently and set up as a non-for-profit business (not to be confused with a non-profit). Below is an example of what you can expect:

Sales- Any revenue generated first goes to cover operating costs. Any remaining profits are set aside for the growth of Redeeming Harvest and to serve the Kingdom through support of local organizations, service projects, and sharing the gospel and love of Christ. Revenue to support the ministry is made through sales, volunteerism, and donations. No money will be used for payroll purposes.

Blogs- Through articles and videos, Redeeming Harvest can share the gospel, cover a variety of topics, and disseminate information. Some of the areas to be covered are general biblical knowledge (such as the beatitudes), outdoor adventure hacks (i.e., knot tying, wildlife photography), and community events such as parades and fundraisers.

Service- Periodically, and as funds and volunteer numbers allow; special projects in the community will occur. Some of these projects include river and park cleanups, helping at fundraisers for other organizations, and assisting with local events (such as marathons).

These various areas help us to meet our core values: Faith, Family, Community.

Faith- We seek to understand and apply the scriptures to our daily lives to draw closer to God and be of service to the Kingdom. We do this by gathering regularly, reading the bible, and discussing and answering questions together.

Family- The body and personal family. We strive to be leaders in our homes, the fellowship, and our workplaces. Our calling is to disciples and lead by example to those around us. When we have our homes in order, we can begin to serve others and have a biblical impact in the world.

Community- The bible tells us that faith, without works is dead. While we understand that works alone will not save us, we do realize the calling to go out into the world. We do this by seeking opportunities to serve the kingdom in the community. Such opportunities may be visiting the elderly, cleaning up a local park, or helping fundraise for different causes.

Our goal is to be transparent. While set up as a business, we are not about making profit and personal gains. The idea of this model is to pay our taxes (give to Ceasar what is Ceasars’) while still working to serve the Kingdom of God. We are not a tax-exempt organization, but are not a for-profit business either as our profits are reinvested into the mission of service.

Mission:

To live a kingdom life by setting an example of God’s love for His people through study, leading, and serving in order to share the gospel and bring others into fellowship so that they may know Christ and receive Him as Lord and Savior.

Core Values:

Faith * Family * Community

Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2)
