Statement of Faith

  • We believe that God is the creator of earth, omnipresent, and is without beginning or end. That there is but one true God and through separation by sin, continually works to bring us back into fellowship with Him.

  • We believe that Jesus is God in human form. That He was sent not to abolish the law, but fulfil the prophecies, by serving mankind instead of being served, that He may die on the cross for the sins of mankind.

  • We believe that the Holy Spirit was left upon the resurrection of Christ for the benefit of man. That the Holy Spirit interceded on our behalf and convicts us of the need to live a faithful life and turn away from sin by giving mankind a new life and guides us on a faithful path.

  • We believe that the Bible is the living Word of God, given directly and through divine inspiration. That the Word reveals the mysteries of the Kingdom, the fall of man, ways of living a faithful life, the end times, and God’s love for mankind and His mercy for our redemption.

  • God created mankind, both male and female, in His own likeness. Mankind was given the earth to rule over, and by choosing to disobey and fall to temptation, sinned against God and fell short; becoming spiritually separated from God.

  • By becoming spiritually separated from God, the cost of sin is death. Through the death and resurrection of Christ, we can be redeemed and receive eternal life by our confession and belief in Christ. This salvation is a direct reflection of God’s love towards mankind.

  • Baptism is a confession and outward expression of faith that one has accepted Christ as their savior and promise to obey God. Baptism is a demonstration of Christ’s death (to our old ways), burial (down into the water), and resurrection (up from the water), in that our sins are washed away, and we become transformed as new creatures in Jesus.

  • The church is the local body of believers, coming together to study the Word of God in that we may grow closer in fellowship with one another and God. That through gathering, the church can spread the Word of God and equip believers with the tools for service to God’s Kingdom.

  • A sacred covenant between one man and one woman, who through unification become one flesh, and is a divine institution that reflects the relationship between God and the church. That in marriage, the roles of man and woman compliment each other and fulfil keeping sexual morality to allow for continued procreation.

  • In six days, God created both the heaven and earth. On the seventh day, God rested and gave unto man, through the ten commandments (and Moses), this day as a day of rest. It was given as a sacred day to remind us of His power and promise of eternal spiritual rest in His presence and is a time for worship, fellowship, and rest of the physical body.

  • An expression of heart and mind through vital communication with God. It is a form of worship that includes adoration, confession, and supplication. Prayer is a response to circumstance, a way to draw closer to God, and a powerful tool in spiritual warfare.

  • As often as we meet, we are commanded to break bread and drink wine, in remembrance of Christ and His sacrifice for mankind. We take of the unleavened bread, breaking and eating it in remembering of His body, broken for us. Just as such, we take of the wine and drink, just as Christs blood was shed for our sins. It is a symbolic remembrance of His crucifixion.

  • We believe that works alone will not lead to salvation, and that faith without works is dead. That faith and works go together and by the fruit we bear others will know us in Christ. Stewardship is the fulfilment of the great commission of sharing the gospel and edifying others by being servants, just as Christ served mankind while on earth.
