What is the purpose of Redeeming Harvest?

Our goal is to grow in intentional missions and fellowship by coming together to live a life focused on building faith while working to let people see Christ in us. We do this by combing our efforts in both enjoying games and other fun activities, prayer, and devotionals (fellowship) as well cleaning up our community, looking for opportunities to serve others and volunteer with different projects around our community (missions).

While not a church, we do believe that even those of different denominations and backgrounds can come together to meet the needs of the community. While missions and fellowship as mentioned above are our key goals, we hope to also expand into offering care services to those that need them as we grow (such as a homeless shelter and resource center).

We want to break the stigma of being judgmental, self-righteous, and money focused. While we will run on volunteers and donations, our goal is not to set forth for the purpose of pressuring anyone to give, and we will serve anyone, regardless of if they can donate, volunteer, or are a follow of Christ; after all, even Jesus went out of the way to help the least in their society, including those who were non-Jewish.

Additionally, we will also look at biblical controversies to give thought on finding the truth. In no way do we claim to have the truth but rather share what we have found and personal conclusions. Many of us are not biblical scholars, but rather believers just seeking God.
