• Redeeming Harvest is a house church, meeting in a way that reflects the early believers. Instead of a large congregation, we focus on small groups meeting together to study the scriptures.

  • This can change from time to time, so please contact us if you would like to be a part of the Redeeming Harvest fellowship. Typically, it will be on a Saturday morning for fellowship, opening time during the week for other activities such as missions and evangelism.

  • Please refer to the following pages: Statement of Faith, Pillar of Fellowship, About RH.

  • We are not part of a larger covenant, denomination, or church group. Although, you may find that many smaller groups get together within Redeeming Harvest in order to fellowship as a closer-knit community and then have a larger worship and prayer gathering together.

  • Group leaders (elders) will leader fellowship, each according to their group. As we grow, groups will all meet separately to help facilitate studying, discussions and community. The fellowship is made up of elders, deacons, priests and disciples.

  • Elders act as overseers and group leaders. Their duties include ensuring no false teachers come into the flock, help to appoint new leaders, guide in the direction of the fellowship, and facilitate small group fellowships. As many as small groups there are, there will be at least one Elder (with a minimum of three Elders regardless of number of small groups).

Deacons are appointed to assist with administrative tasks, community outreach, and emergency needs. They help to plan and assist in the facilitation of small group fellowship, by working alongside the Elders. Deacons will also work to help offer spiritual support in guidance under the direction of Elders. Deacons are typically appointed to help prepare them for becoming an Elder to be prepared to lead their own small group.

Priests share the duties of the Elders, as well as help administrate the overall growth and works within Redeeming Harvest. One key difference within Redeeming Harvest is that priests and deacons are the same except that this title bestows “ordination” within the fellowship to meet the specific legal requirements for performing weddings.

Disciples are all other members. As with all members, regardless of position or title, we greet each other by name or “brother/sister”, not “Elder, Deacon, or Father”. We believe all members of the fellowship are equal, and only God should be called Father.

More information on the details of these duties can be found by reading the “Redeeming Harvest Leadership” blog.

  • Come as you are. No fancy dress up. We will gather in the home of one of the believers to sing hymns, pray, fellowship, worship and study scriptures. Outside of the regular fellowship meeting, our goal is to set up and seek opportunities to evangelize within the community. This may be done by group volunteering, planning beautification projects, or offering to help members of the community in need.

  • Yes. Our hope is to one day build a mission center. We will till meet as small groups for studying and fellowship and use the chapel for weddings and worship as well as other ceremonial events. The remainder of the mission will be to help meet the needs of the community by offering services and support (such as meals for those who are hungry, and beds for those without a home).

Essentially, our hope is to build a church that is focused more on supporting those in need than to “meet and be preached to”. More information on this will come as we grow and work together to meet that vision.
